Best Mobile Gaming Phones 2024-I like Mobile Gaming, in fact as a Gamer i find myself playing more and more Mobile Game this recent times.
When started i always thought that since it is just a simple “mobile game” i can just use whatever phone i had. For the fact, my first phone that i use for mobile gaming was Asus Zenfone M1 Pro and i use it to play Genshin Impact until January 2023.
You can imagine how it almost made me insane (LOL).
It was a lesson i learned the hard way, that you definitely at least a decent phone to play Mobile Games nowadays.
Furthermore for you an avid Mobile Gamer this question must come to mind “Do i need Best Mobile Gaming Phones?”
With the recent Mobile games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, Ensemble Stars, and the most recent Zenless Zone Zero the answer is : Yes, you definitely friggin need it.
I will not go, at least not yet, into the budget option. My focus here is the best mobile gaming phone for now. So yes, prepare for the high-end option
Why you need Best Mobile Gaming Phones 2024?
So, why do we even need Best Mobile Gaming Phones 2024? To answer that, let’s just talk what happened when i play Genshin Impact with my Asus Zenfone M1 Pro from 2021 until 2023. Let’s just start from here.
1. Better Graphic
Back when Genshin Impact first came out, it was one of (if not the most) mobile game that has the most beautiful graphic. Well or so i thought.
When i try to set the Graphic quality to the max, guess what happened? My character simply skipping a move. Like it is 1 FPS.
It was so crazy that the only way it become kinda like the normal 30 FPS is set the graphic option all the way to the minimum. At this point the graphic looks very similar to a Playstation 2 Game, which is atrocious.
2. Stable FPS
I have told you a little about this before but let me elaborate how crazy it actually is.
I set the graphic setting to minimum, yes. Did it make the FPS normal? A big NO. MY FPS is up and down, most prominently in a fight.
This become a problem for a fast-paced game like Genshin Impact and was one of the reason why i just cannot clear Spiral Abyss (the end-game content).
3. Battery Problem
Since Zenfone M1 Pro was a pretty old phone, the battery drained out very quick when i played Genshin Impact. One gaming session is maximum at least 2 Hours.
Of course with a game that demand the players to explore the game, this battery problem become a turn off for me (and make me insane).
What is the Best Mobile Gaming Phones 2024?
Now we come to the big question, What is the best mobile gaming phone in 2024? We need a phone that makes our Mobile Gaming experience improve.
Playing Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Ensemble Stars smoothly is a MUST for me. So that become my main concern and condition of choosing the best mobile gaming phone.

You might hear this brand so much if you play computer game too. ROG or Republic Of Gamers. It is not surprising that they went on to capitalize on their Gaming brand to make a Gaming Phone.
ASUS ROG 8 Pro featured an improved chip in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which will cover all mobile game you could think of even Genshin Impact.
The main improvement is definitely with the simpler design of the phone itself. Instead of using white lining (making the phone unnecessarily somewhat robotic), Asus ROG 8 Pro just has a black and gray color as the back. Very simple, yet making it feels more Luxury.
Battery Capacity for Asus ROG 8 Pro is 5500 mAh which is higher than Samsung and Apple.
To top with that, 4 Years of security update which is mid enough (compared to the 2 years of Redmagic), is a welcoming addition.
However, we must also take one more consideration, The bending durability. Since Asus ROG 7 Pro was bended at the last video of JerryRigEverything, it got me worried how this next gen will perform. It turns out, it doesn’t bend like the ROG 7, but it does crack on the back side.
So since we as a gamer usually play pretty “hardcore-ly” i think this is a bit turns down.

Honestly i never really dig into RedMagic series phone before, that is also true for this RedMagic 9 Pro. You can guess why, its because the short years of security update.
Why you ask this is a big no no for me? It is because after those 2 years, you will notice your phone become slower.
However i understand, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 plus 6500 mAh battery (which is the highest battery capacity out of all the phone here) is such a great deal to miss out.
The Design itself, is very much has the feels of ROG Phone 7 Pro (with those streaks). For some people this may looks very futuristic, but i really does like my phone simple and clean.
So i definitely recommend this gaming phone if you don’t have a problem with short security update. Other than that, this mobile gaming phone definitely delivers.

I recommend ZTE Nubia RedMagic 9 Pro as my #1 best battery choice for mobile gamers who want high-end mobile gaming phone, but also the best battery capacity phone.

Ah, yes Apple who doesn’t know that brand. My friend told me that Iphone offers more value compared to the other phone product, since if you resell it the selling price is still high (why would you even want to sell a phone you buy).
However, yes Iphone 15 Pro Max is the best Iphone to date. It is Apple flagship series afterall for phone. Well, the price is just as atrocious.
Using the all new chip A17 Pro, you can be sure for the next (at least) 5 year that your mobile gaming experience is maximized.
The Titanium touch is also very good. It makes the design plain and simple while making Iphone 15 Pro Max looks very premium.
To add more, the value of Iphone 15 Pro Max stretch outside of Gaming with very good camera for Photography (you can definitely use it to snap some cosplay picture don’t ya).

Samsung, i get it. This mobile gaming phone is more like the well-balanced phone. Afterall, this is not really specifically made for game (which you could argue the same like Iphone 15 Pro Max).
This one, offers the lowest battery capacity and mind you Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the most expensive variation of Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
People say that the low battery capacity problem is mitigated by how the chipset (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3) is specifically modified for Samsung Galaxy series hence the “for Galaxy” moniker.
However this Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra improve upon S23 by making the cooling system better (on top of the upgraded chipset of course).
For note, i use Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus and sometimes (in a long game session of Genshin Impact) the phone does heating to some level that makes my hand uncomfortable. So, this improvement is a welcome addition.
I have to say, the best thing that come to Galaxy series is AI function and let me tell you why this is a big game changer.
For some mobile gamer like me, people wil play a JP or other non-english language game. This AI function, makes it so that you can just click and the text is translated. This is such a big and mindblowing things for me.

OnePlus 12R may only have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but when you look and put into equation all the other factors you will see this phone in the new light.
At first yes, i ask myself what the heck is even OnePlus 12R?
Check out just the refresh rate of 120Hz. Not convinced? Adding 5500 mAh which i tell you, is even higher than Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
But brother Hoshi, this phone is only using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is a 2023 outdated chipset, surely it must be bad? WRONG.
All of that wrong, when you look again at the price tag. It is half than all of the phone in this list. Then you look again at the spec and it blows your mind.
How can a phone with this spec has this low price tag? Impossible. It is reality though.
Well you can’t make it out super perfect surely. The phone water resistance is low, but still with that price tag and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2? I can play Genshin Impact with with highest graphic value (although maybe only on 30 FPS).
What makes this phone very good choice for you, other than the price is definitely the security update. Longer than Red Magic 9 Pro (only 2 years) which is big also.
